Animal Control Officer
The Lander Police Department animal control officer is alan mccomie.
A Lander native and resident for the past 52 years, Alan McComie is well known around town and has been for many years. An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army MP's, Alan has been awarded two Combat Valor awards while serving for the Lander Police Department.
In 2006 Alan retired from the Police Department and began serving as Animal Control Officer. Having such an experienced officer in the position of Animal Control is a luxury that most departments do not enjoy.
