This is a sketch drawn by an FBI forensic artist, of a male suspect who has been cashing numerous fraudulent “oilfield” payroll checks in Fremont County, Wyoming.
The fraudulent payroll checks display the issuer names of "Dry Creek Oil Services Inc" or “Pro Test Well Services”.
The fraudulent payroll checks display Pay to the order of:
“Arthur Wallace” or “Hal Mechan”
The suspect is using fraudulent Montana and Utah drivers licenses.
The checks are being cashed by a Hispanic male subject in his late thirties or early forties. The suspect is approx. 5',6" in height and weighs approx. 170 lbs. The suspect has dark wavy hair below his ears and a dark long mustache. The suspect was wearing a dark "King Ropes" hat and an orange T shirt.
It is believed there are several male suspects cashing the fraudulent “oilfield” checks. The suspects are using computer software to create the checks on their personal computers, and are printing the checks on check paper. The checks are professional, appear legitimate and include security features.
