Internet Crimes and Internet Fraud

Internet fraud is growing at a tremendous rate, and we are seeing instances of being being defrauded even in Lander. Although the Lander Police Department is always ready to investigate these types of occurences, jurisdictional issues make it nearly impossible for us to prosecute offenders or return funds. If you have been a victim of internet crime, you can make a report of it through this link to the IC3.gov website. The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).
